1. The free software

The BdebTech AI IDE extension and the bdebd daemon are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The bundled editor (VSCodium) and engine (llama.cpp) are licensed under the MIT License. Model weights are downloaded from their publishers under their own licenses (Qwen2.5-Coder: Apache-2.0). You may use the software for any purpose, including commercial work, subject to those licenses.

2. Studio subscription

Studio is a prepaid subscription from Bdeb Technology that provides a license key unlocking additional model packs, engine profiles, updates and support for the paid period. A license covers up to three machines used by one person. Keys may not be shared, resold or published. We may revoke keys that are abused; in that case unused time is refunded.

Payments are accepted via UPI, USDT/USDC and Binance Pay. Crypto payments are final once confirmed on-chain except as described in the refund policy. Prices are in USD; INR equivalents are quoted at the time of purchase.

3. Refunds

If Studio does not work on your hardware within the first 7 days and we cannot resolve it together, you receive a full refund in the currency you paid. Beyond that, subscriptions are non-refundable but remain valid until expiry.

4. AI output

The software generates code and text using statistical models. Output may be wrong, insecure or infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing and testing anything you use. Bdeb Technology is not liable for damages arising from generated output.

5. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bdeb Technology's total liability for any claim relating to the software or Studio is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding three months.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the changelog and by email to Studio subscribers. Continued use after a change means acceptance.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
